Inside the Mask

After years of listening to laboratories who said it could not be done, and to those who were still trying to figure it out, Tag Heuer Sport Vision has succeeded in creating the first ophthalmic and panoramic mask in the world. As a custom-ordered prescription-only item, Panorama is made of NXT impact- resistant polyurethane, and is available in a range of unifocal and progressive lenses. Developed at the Logo Group factory in Morez, France, the Panorama earned the company its fourth consecutive SILMO d’Or award in the inter-national eyewear community.

Zenith, the non-prescription counterpart to Panorama, was launched in the United States last September, following the overwhelming success of Tag’s unique mask concept. Part of Sport Vision’s Sport Glamour series, Zenith features seven-base polyamide lenses in six shapes, six sizes, an exclusive 2.5mm width, and an adjustable 3-D nosepad. The beta titanium temples, also overmolded with composite rubber for flexibility and comfort, are available in black, red, Havana, beige and pink. (Click image to enlarge)

The combination of performance, comfort and fashion has made Tag’s eyewear collections increasingly popular for under-helmet wear.
