Ducati is making it easier than ever to put one of its machines on the
racetracks of America. Featuring a limited production run of only 30 units, the
Ducati SS1000 is a stripped-down version of the street-going SS1000F—the
headlight, taillight, mirrors, and turn signals are removed, and prominent
“Competition Only” stickers added and sold at a near-throwaway price of $7,999.
