Aprilia is not a name we traditionally associate with dirt track racing.
However, the US arm of the Italian company is changing that. Teaming with Lloyd
Brothers Motorsports, the Aprilia Flat Track Team V990 is working its way into
the mains at AMA Grand National Championship races with Henry Wiles at the
controls. At the same time, Aprilia is making its presence known at AMA
Supermoto races, thanks to the SXV 550 V-twin raced in the Unlimited class by
Darryl Atkins of the Aprilia Pacifico SuperMoto Race Team. Further, the Piaggio
Group has a new partnership with Arctic Cat, an American manufacturer of
snowmobiles and ATVs.
Dunlop Motorcycle Tires will offer a series of high-quality, collector’s edition Legends posters, with the net proceeds benefiting injured riders through the Clayton Memorial Foundation. ::MORE::
