Need to add a little excitement to your life? Perhaps KTM can help. The Austrian manufacturer says that riding its bikes is like a shot of adrenaline. That just may be the case for the 950 Supermoto, a street version of KTM’s highly popular 950 Adventure. Designed to feel like an off-road bike with sportbike performance, the 950 delivers all the advantages of the Supermoto category combined with a high-power output 942cc, liquid-cooled V-twin engine that has a compact structure for superior handling.

With a wet weight of 438 pounds, the 6-speed, 98-horsepower streefighter has been tweaked to the finest detail. New exhaust design provides more torque from low to high revs. The super-light aluminum subframe, Brembo cast-aluminum wheels, and deep engine position contribute to its sporty performance that allows for dramatic acceleration and swift corner-carving. Pirelli Scorpion Sync tires were tailored specifically for use on the 950, ensuring a firm grip at every twist and turn. The 950 is an appealing choice that presents a new approach to the Supermoto experience. Price: $12,998

The highly anticipated Super Duke will not be on U.S. shores until 2007. Can’t wait!
