Blow-Dryer
Throw away the chamois, rags, and Q-tips. The Metropolitan Vacuum Cleaner Co. has a method for drying motorcycles that is so quick and easy it will blow you away. The company’s Air Force Blaster (pictured) and larger Air Force Master Blaster (with wheels) were specifically designed for drying bikes with dry, filtered, heated air that is 20 to 25 degrees warmer than the ambient temperature. Five to seven minutes is all it takes to blow-dry a motorcycle from top to tread—without water spots. A heavy-duty 10-foot hose allows freedom to move around the bike, while five neoprene nozzle attachments allow you to adjust airflow as needed, from blowing water off large expanses of paint and chrome, to honing in on those maddening little spaces such as cylinder fins, springs, and spokes. Both units feature all-steel construction, but the Master Blaster provides twice the horsepower (eight), along with the ability to adjust airflow and temperature to three different levels.
